I recently had my flat redecorated by Dan and I must say that something I was somewhat dreading turned out to be not only a pleasant experience but a creatively satisfying one. I have a lot of items that needed to be moved in order for the work to be carried out and this was all performed with great skill and care. Everything was wrapped and protected and photos were taken to establish where everything had to go back when the job was complete. Living with someone working in your home for a few weeks can raise all kinds of problems but Dan was a largely silent presence unless there were things to discuss and that was always managed in a very agreeable way. At the end of each working day everything was left in a pristine state and the comings and goings hardly noticed. At the end I was thrilled with the work and the final result. No detail was spared and I’m so happy with the way my home looks. It is immaculate and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Whenever I read recommendations I always wonder – did they really come from a customer – or were they just written by someone trying to drum up some more business. Well this is definitely written by a customer - and a very happy one at that. And if you’d like confirmation – please get Dan to pass you my e-mail. So where to start – the quote was better than two others we got. Dan started when he said he’d start. He finished when he said he’d finish. He charged exactly what he said he’d charge – non of that awful sucking of teeth while the guy you thought was trustworthy starts talking about ‘extras’. And actually the job turned out to be a bit trickier than expected. The bright orange paint the previous owner had used turned out to be some kind of uber paint that just kept showing despite the three coats of white Dan applied. He then went out and sourced a different paint spec which banished the orange forever from our lives – all at no extra cost. Brilliant. We both work so left him our keys with no problems – despite the fact we have three cats who are always trying to escape out of the front door. And every evening we came home to find he’d tidied the place beautifully. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
